Welcome!
I’m currently accepting new clients for in-person and online sessions. I work as a counsellor in amiskwacîwâskahikan (Edmonton, Alberta) where I live and practice on Treaty 6 Territory. I’m a settler here, seeking to work actively against white supremacy and colonization as a counsellor. I’m committed to listening deeply, asking good questions, and approaching counselling from a collaborative and strengths-based perspective. If you have any questions or if you’d like to schedule a consultation call, please reach out.

I work with all sorts of people, but know that my work is especially for you if you’re…
-
LGBTQ+
-
Neurodivergent
-
Living with a disability or chronic health concern
-
Going through changes or transition in your life
-
Seeking to strengthen your communication skills
-
Thinking and feeling deeply about social justice and/or climate justice
-
Looking for a counsellor who welcomes your whole self in sessions – including quirks, creativity, spirituality, questions, and access needs

What to expect…

I seek to accompany people in healing according to their own values and experiences, with
dignity and creativity.
My work is informed by my perspective as a queer and non-binary person, and as someone
with lived experience of mental health concerns. I invite clients into collaboration and shared
curiosity in support of mental health and well-being. In sessions, I offer depth, practicality,
humour, and grounded presence.
I’m listening, exploring, and always learning. I participate in on-going professional development,
with a current focus in the areas of Narrative Therapy, somatics, poetry therapy, nervous
system health and social justice.
Experience
I’ve been working as a counsellor since 2012, and in private practice since 2021. In the past, I’ve
worked in a hospital setting, social service agencies, and university student services. My
volunteer roles have included working as a counsellor with Camp fYrefly in Edmonton, and
Qmunity and the Catherine White Holman Wellness Centre in Vancouver.

Fun Facts
I was raised in Edmonton, and returned here a few years ago after a decade living in other
cities. I’m a bonus-parent (step-parent) in a blended family. I love drawing games, exploring the
river valley, cooking and baking, and being cozy.
